Glenn Harrold is a full Diplomat member of the British
School of Clinical Hypnosis, one of the most respected clinical hypnotherapy
organisations in the UK. The BSCH adhere to a strict code of ethics. They
are the only UK organisation affiliated with the training of NHS doctors
and other health professionals in the art of hypnotherapy. Glenn is an experienced
clinical hypnotherapist who has helped thousands of clients with a wide
range of problems. Before becoming a hypnotherapist, he was a performing
and recording musician. Combining his deep understanding of hypnosis with
an extensive recording expertise has enabled him to produce a uniquely effective
series of high quality hypnosis recordings.
How I began making Hypnosis Tapes
Before becoming a hypnotherapist, I was a full time musician and spent many
long hours in my recording studio. In1997, I began producing my first hypnosis
tapes, primarily to help support the work I was doing with my clients. I
wanted to empower them to independently make changes in their lives.
After looking at similar tapes available, I discovered that most were poorly
produced, with many sounding homemade. I soon realised that there were many
therapists making tapes, but very few understood recording techniques, which
is necessary to achieve great results. So I set out to create a range of
tapes that were well produced with the emphasis on being genuinely revolutionary
for people. I initially recorded and released 7 titles: -
Each was carefully scripted and recorded using sophisticated
recording equipment. They were instantly successful and sold well everywhere
they were displayed. I received fantastic feedback from people who confirmed
how incredibly powerful they were. In 1999 I added another 5 titles: -
I have since updated, and in some cases re-recorded those
earlier tapes using the latest recording technology and other hypnotic techniques
that I have developed to compound the overall therapeutic effect.
The story so far
Since the release of the first tapes in 1997 the series have become hugely
successful much to my delight and amazement! The 23 titles are well-established
best sellers in all major UK book chains and to date the series have sold
500,000. They are also selling well abroad, particularly in the USA, Canada
and Australia. They continue to be best sellers on Amazon and Itunes.
Complete Relaxation has been at Number 1 in the self-help audio chart every
year for the last 5 years, and I have just been awarded a gold disk for
the sales of this title reaching over £250,000. I was chuffed to bits about
that. Not bad for a kid who was kicked out of school at 15! It just shows
the power of a positive frame of mind.
Future Plans
I have a number of new titles in the pipeline. I have recently signed a
6 figure, 3-book deal and am currently writing the first book, which will
be released in March 2007. There are also plans for a new hypnosis affirmation
and subliminal range. These should be on the shelves this autumn.
I am also writing and producing songs with my wife Aly. We have always written
songs together, and we indulge in our favourite hobby when time allows.
The most rewarding aspect of my work is the many emails, phone calls, and
thank you letters I get from people all over the world who have been helped
by using the tapes and CD's. My aim is to continue to develop and improve
my recordings, and to create products that have genuinely healing qualities.
